- Go to Well, It Finally Happened. My Mom Contacted Me
Hi Factor!!
My website is not back up yet. I own the name (OtherSideGuide.com) for like, 70 years or something but I promise I won't wait that long! Things have just been so busy for me lately. But, it is on my list of to-do's for sure! You know you or he can always email me if you ever have questions or whatever!

Thanks, Avant. I will.
Actually, I can't help it. I find myself talking to her all the time. Of course, you know my beliefs, so you know I believe they do hear us, but even I need confirmation now and then!

Thanks for sharing that, Moxie!
I agree. I think they come to us (and make their presence known in some way) when we really need them.

Wicked cool!
And, yes if she had shown in a mirror or something, I would just have assumed I had started hallucinating out of grief. But then again, I'm like that. Paranormal stuff has to be super energetic and hit me over the head! (figuratively!)
Is your website back up or at least in the works? My son goes through phases where he's interested (brave) or not...

I've had some things similar to this happen. I'm glad you did receive a sign. Keep talking to her. She'll show you what to do with it.

How fortunate to receive a visit so soon!
I believe they know when we need them, more importantly than when we want them. It's really nice to receive an unexpected visit. Years ago I received my first visit from my darling Grandmother. Her visit changed my life and filled me with a peace I needed to carry on.
Maybe your mother wants you to know she meant for her jewelry to be clean for you as well as to give you a sign!

LOL, Julia!!!
Yeah, that would be nice not to have to use batteries! I've been trying to be on Blogit more lately. I have been trying. But, just an FYI, I'm going back to Chicago (AGAIN) for the entire last half of February to finish up my mom's estate. I'll try to be around as much as possible before and after again!

That's an amazing story.
I know that I would have been freaked out by its humming without batteries. I cannot imagine the reassurance you received from this, and I'm very happy for you.

I take it that that's your mom's way of saying ''I'm watching over you, my child''.

that's very cool. But I think you should ask her to make it work all the time so M doesn't have to go get you another one. And just think, you wouldn't even need batteries!
thinking of you, miss you on Blogit.

Yeah, if Mom came to me as an image in the mirror, even I would've freaked. That's why she hasn't communicated in such a manner as that...yet. She will when she knows I'm ready.

allyk, thank you so very much for your sweet comments.
I see that you're newer around here. If you want to, check out my other blog "Diary of a clairsentient witch." I haven't posted to it for a while, but it explains a bit about me and what I do. In personal cases such as this, I am grateful for what "I have" and do. My mom was a big part of helping me learn and deal with it since I was a toddler. My mom and I planned for us to communicate (including a secret code word so I'll know it's really her) but I haven't tried yet because I'm not emotionally ready for it yet. Thanks again so much for stopping by!!

OMG! That's worse than looking in the mirror and see ing your father/mother.
Or worse, hearing yourself talking like them.

Definitely, Sir Strat!! And I'm sure that's
why she used the jewelry unit. Not only would I associate it with her, but the fact that it didn't have any batteries in it (nor does it have a way to plug it in to charge) she knew I'd know it was her. I'm not only elated that she communicated with me, but the creative way she did it. If she flickered the lights or turned on the tv or stereo, I would've debunked it off to electrical reasons. She rocks!!!

I'm so sorry to hear about your mom................
I lost my mom ten years ago and not a day goes by that I don't think about her. But, I do believe you're right. Your mom is always with you. I completely believe that your jewelry cleaning turning on was a sign from her. When you're ready, check out a psychic. I know some people don't believe and I, too, am quite skeptical. However, the one I went to blew my mind and put many things at peace for me. Keep talking to your mom. that'll make her come thru to you loud and clear if you do decide to visit a psychic. Again, my deepest sympathies on the loss of your beautiful mother. May your fond memories of her sustain you thru this most difficult time. God Bless.

What a fabulous post
It is so great your Mom made contact with you. I was able to reach my lover after he passed (through a channeler) and it was the most powerful experience of my life.

That would be so lovely of you Temple, thank you! I'm ashamed to admit that I rather neglected her when she needed a friend. Thank the heavens she has you.
BTW, someone (I think Holy Grail) said I should ask you about the "paranormal" I've been experiencing more and more the last couple of years. I think I've got a pretty good handle on it, but it's always good to have another take.
Do you remember Jibran? Or the J-name person.
Anyway, it's good to read you, and so good to read that you've heard from your mom. I'm off and on, but lately have made a real effort to be on more.

miriouma, TRIPPY!
I was just thinking about you this morning and wondering how you're doing. I have been on and off Blogit but haven't been able to comment too much this past week or two. Yeah, Temple is fine. Since she became a Mrs. and a sister-in-law to her now live-in 14 yr old brother-in-law, she's a bit busier now and doesn't have as much time to blog. I'll tell her you said hello and were wondering about her.

Bel, after everything I've experienced (paranormal) throughout life
I am still putting this one down as one of the BEST experiences...I guess cuz it's so personal. My mom rocks and I told her so (out loud) right after it happend.

Hiya Fire!
Good to see you're online.
I read this earlier and wanted to say I'm happy for you! It was only a matter of time before she made her appearance.
And PS:
Have you heard from Temple? She hasn't written since December...getting a bit worried...

HolyG, me, too, however,
the reason I mentioned that she would come to me when I'm ready... meaning she knows I still haven't accepted her being gone yet. She will come to me in a more subtle way when I can emotionally handle it. But this, THIS I needed for now.

I am so happy. I knew she would come, but I wasn't sure when.
I know how much the two of you love each other, and I do believe that that kind of love, deep and selfless, never leaves us. It just maybe takes different form, but that energy can never be dissolved. Blessings on you, Spitfire. This is a big deal. I am curious to hear what comes next. I don't know much about the gift, so I haven't much of an idea as to what's even possible. I hope it's fulfilling in its own way.
