Honey, when you go "Broadband" there aint no going back.  I think that's how the saying goes.  *grin*

A few days ago, my ethernet card went bad, and I had to go back to dial-up for 2 days, so I can relate to you being able to go out and wash the car and stuff while waiting for a page loaded with photos to pull up.

But honestly, when you finally do get your high-speed, you'll have little sympathy for those who don't have it.  LOL

Whacky...
The slowness is only part of it, the darn thing also constantly disconnects, and causes speling arrers.

And if this computer doesn't wise up, it will feel my pain as well.

FooD...Are you holding your mouth right? Like right now? LoL!
You crack me up!  You'll be happy with the DSL.  When I had dial-up coupled with my pentium 1, I would joke that I had to get the crank out to boot the thing up!
