excellent tony! a great positive message about try, try again.

i have often made headway because of people's recognition of my attempts to succeed as opposed to my actual successes. people want people who are willing to try, really, can you ask for anything more? and because of that willingness to try repeatedly, i have in fact, experienced many successes in life, me, a 5'1", flat-chested, mousy brown-haired, plain looking tigress! grrrrr!

destiny is a tuff thing to prove.hard to say why we seemingly are followed by cloud or sun shine but when they are there ,one does always ask why. good post

I have mixed feelings about whether or not we are the master of our destiny. Some of it I think is beyond our control but as you sonnet said, we can open doors and we can forge ahead with determination. From that perspective alone, we can shape our destiny. I really enjoyed today's sonnet, Tony.....
