I must disagree with you here.
I think it is a cynical statement to say that MOST of the world is lonely. I hope that you are alright. . , and no matter what the cause of your sadness is. . , please take a good look at your beautiful children. How could you ever be lonely??

Well said, Symph. The key, I think, is not RELYING on other people
... to provide happiness, but trying to create it for ourselves, by ourselves. Then there's lots of good things to cheer us up and keep us busy both when we're with someone and when we're not!

True...I went through a mystery breakup right after New Years and felt bad for two days. Now having gone through break ups in the past (especially the ones you have been in a long time) that have sent me into a tail spin that lasted no less then a couple of months. People are the medicine though!
