we're VERY close to the Pacific ocean... and I've spent many an hour on the waters out here, fishing. I used to have a 32-foot Grand Banks (in a previous marriage) and we fished constantly in Mexican waters, sometimes in very rough seas... to my delight!

Julia was telling me that she was turning green with seasickness looking at my pictures of the storm-tossed ship - I am turning green with envy at seeing your sunshine...
You mentioned that you too don't get seasick - how close are you to the Pacific? I know you're about twenty feet from the pool...
