Lady Ariela's a highly skilled hand with the old crochet hook, and our daughter's getting good too.
During the last coupla days, everyone's been admiring a beautiful open weave scarf that Francie crocheted for her.
When we were dirt poor, and had four young kids, Lady Ariela used to scrounge cotton thread and crochet dishcloths ; as well as darning socks and other things, unpicking and reknitting sweaters and ... well, as you can imagine, she's a good manager!
