I never have understood the magic of Starbucks.  Many people feel the way you do.

And, you say they beat out the competitors because the other coffee houses were too expensive??

I have always thought Starbucks was waaaaay high.  Then again, I've never frequented the competition. . , so, what do I know.  (sigh)

Malcolm,
As yet, I haven't written anything today, but I've been reading a page-turner.  Good to see your writing is flowing.  Have fun!

Thanks Troosha
It's a novel that I feel I've been working on all my life. In the spirit of 2007 being about doing not just thinking and daydreaming, it is going to see the light of day this year and I'd love all of you to tell me what you think?

Give I'm a "people watcher" I would find Starbuck to distracting.  I like the peace and quiet of my office, cat sleeping close by, and all my favorite things around me.  What are you writing, by the way?  (Aside from blogging).
