My friend just doesn't understand why she doesn't get any job and she is getting tired of interviews

Well...
It took me a full seven months to find something. Every interview included something along the lines of "overqualified" or "why would you want to..." It was so disheartening. Then I had three interviews in one week. I got two in two days. One is full time for an auction house (right up my alley as I ran an antiques business and wrote a syndicated column on antiques), the second is an online writing source that will eventually lead to an editor's position. They're looking at me for the antiques section. It couldn't be more perfect.
Boy has it been touch and go, however. No one would believe that I just wanted a job and that I would work hard wherever I ended up. (There was never a complaint about my work, mind you, so I never got why people would assume that.)
