Odysseus, I'd have been surprised to get it right...
Actually, what I wonder is, who is the Queen of Diamonds to you, and is she really as inaccessible as she looks?

Actually you were quite close...it was a nine of spades....
And I believe you may have gotten it if I had written the 9 a bit plainer.....in fact, it sort of does look like a three....uh, next thing you know we'll have convinced ourselves that you got it right!  LOL

great post Ciel, would make a good episode of Ghost Whisperer!
(not that I'm suggesting this is a dramatization, far from it. of course you know I am not a skeptic!).

Ciel, a tale that can keep a sceptic still puzzling is a good story in my

book. I was saying to Julia yesterday that when you believe something, it's much more of a challenge to convince the nay-sayers than the nodders. I like to be challenged by both believer and sceptic alike, in any field of experience.

Thanks, Dave!
It may be hard to believe, but I'm a skeptic, too.

Thanks for your greetings of the season, as well!

Kabu, it sounds like there's an interesting story surrounding that event!

Odysseus, not my area of particular ability,

but just for the fun of it-- 3 of spades was the first impression I had, but the most lasting impression is a queen of diamonds.

I'm looking at a pebble that happens to be on my desk.  What color is it?

Very interesting Ciel. This sceptic enjoyed it.

Sannhet, the problem might be that you're trying to figure it out.

Somewhere in there, you already know.

Effort kills psychic effectiveness at least in part because it engages the concious intellect and actually seems to shut down the subtler connections we have with the subconcious mind, or drowns them out.

A spirit or something once kept pushing me off a chair
I found out later the spirit was tormenting the house occupants. I knew nothing at the time....just felt an idiot each time I hit the floor!

I've got an idea that might be fun to test your ESP....
I've chosen one card out of a deck of 52....I've written it on a sticky note and pasted it on the wall beside my computer....wanna take a stab at it?  Just for fun!

Ciel -
Very cool! I'm glad that you were able to help her move on and to help the real estate agent. I've experienced many spirits, but have never been in a position where I could help. Currently, I'm trying to figure out why I resist so much when a particular spirit (which I have yet been able to identify) is trying to communicate with me in my dreams.
