Thanks for commenting. I love the emoticons here, it's so great to get thumbs up and hearts and roses. ^-^

Troosha, lovely comment, I think you put into words very well part of what I wanted to convey. Thanks.

Teddypoet, thanks for continued support!

Tonyzonit, I think that's how I live, literal reality mixing with dream-like states, so I guess it makes it into my writing, thank you.

Thanks for the comment--I see what you're saying, definitely. Thanks for explaining. I feel lucky that I have that balance, because you're right, I do feel like I tend toward both sides, left and right brain.

I mean, I studied chemistry and math in college, and I also work in computer science. Those are all rather analytical, logical things. But my heart belongs to poetry, writing, music, dance, etc--the arts, really, and though I adore science and trust many of its laws, I simultaneously/paradoxically believe in many things that are beyond science.

Enjoyed it - you've captured some dreamlike images which still make
some kind of literal sense.

Night
For me in conjured up a picture of the flurry of life – people passing each other so quickly yet the best gift being in the present.

Excellent work! In out recent email exchange, I mentioned to you about ‘how you process reality’. You asked for more detail. I said that I needed to be with it. It’s something like this: For analytical purposes, we can be divided into two parts: the left-brain, linear, rational, logical part and the right-brain, non-linear, non-rational, intuitive/feeling part. When I mentioned about ‘how you process reality’ it has to do with the interplay of those two halves within you. In your emails and I would suspect in your daily interactions with people, you appear to be somewhat ‘head oriented’ in that you look for logical, rational explanations and connections – things are connected sequentially, progressing in a linear way through time. Yet, it is obvious from your poetry – from your dreams, that you are fully tapped into the non-rational, the non- linear, the world beyond words and concepts, the world of imagery, archetypes, feelings, impulses. Usually people predominate in one or the other and tend to discount the opposite mode. Using a stereotype, I would analogize that accountants and artists probably do not speak the same language. From the little that I know of you, it would seem that you have both halves fully activated. It is very intriguing to watch you through your poetry and your other writing. I have observed people for 5.8 decades. Most are predictable in one way or the other. You don’t appear to fit the normal molds. Blessings. MoonSpirit
