I have a friend like that, a guy I've known since 7th grade. He lives in Los Angeles now so years pass before we see each other. No matter how much we change and regardless of the events in our lives, we pick up where we left off as if only days had passed. That's a rare thing and the mark of true friendship.

SW, sounds like a great time ahead.
I have a handful of friends like that. One came to stay with us over New Year. Hadn't seen him for 10 months, but it seemed like yesterday. Some bonds are unbreakable and unshakable by time or distance.

and yes it is weird how you see one of your friends you have not seen for ages - yet it's like you just saw eachother yesterday....I guess it's the friends you really gel (connect) with.
