Honey, all they can do is reject you.
You can take a rejection, can't you?? But, if you never submit anything, you eliminate any chance of publication whatsoever. Submit your poem.

Good luck with the script and yes, always send stuff out.
I've been slack in that department recently, but the right desk at the right time with the right material and you're laughing. This can never happen if you don't keep sending stuff out.
