Situation Normal
Writeoflight, I think you have proven one of my points. Liberal Democrats will claim to be anything in order to be popular with the right number of constituents. Their convictions will change to suit public opinion as they bank on the lack of long-term memory posessed by Americans.
Let the games begin!

Shuler was no football player and will be much worse as a politican.
I am sure his two year old, who I might add he has brought into the equation, will grow up just as dumb and stupid as he is.

Welcome, taxguy!
The really sad thing is that this dipwad claims to be a conservative. Maybe, unlike Zell Miller, he couldn't handle the inherent contradictions of being a conservative and a Democrat and his mind stripped gears under the load.

Can I Get An Amen?!
I mentioned in Scoop's posting just a while ago, I never met a liberal that I could get along with and that Heath Shuler was too dumb for football but is just right for politics. He'll be on the take before too long just like his esteemed colleagues. In fact, he has already flim-flammed his constituents into thinking that he is the best man for the job.
Nancy Polosi will be a fly by night leader of the house because every so often, we need comedy relief. Her leadership abilities have already displayed weaknesses. We are in for more of the same except for the potential for some really hack-kneed antics.
