Mia,
I sure hope things have improved since then and that your finger heals quickly. Your story reminds me of us at work. The security guard sometimes hits the panic button, after which the security company calls right away. We try to reassure them that's nothing wrong and they ask us for a password, which nobody remembers anyway. Since they don't believe us, inevitably 2 huge men dressed in black ride up shortly afterwards and we have to do the reassuring thing all over again. Sometimes our security systems can be a nuisance.
