Personally, I find a certain beauty in the winter. Unfortunately, my area of the country has been effected by El Nino (or however that it spelled), and we haven't gotten to see the frosty images that you have presented in this entry.
Enjoyed your pics!

SolorWriter...
That frosty plant is the Common Tansy a hardy weed, and it is hugging a fence post. No matter, the beauty of the contrast is what I like. I took 8 photos of it to get only a few I really liked.

Julia...
I appreciate the beauty of the winter, but the reality is it can be uncomfortable too. Besides, where else can you get a photo like that? It is raining today.

It's so sad ~ that little frozen plant is hugging a dead tree.

I like the photos, esp. the frosty weed.
So beauty is not only in the eye of the beholder, but in your state of mind and how you "choose" to see!!

To me, the snow is very beautiful.
Where I live, it has been in the 70's, and my daffodils are coming up. Ofcourse, this unusually warm weather isn't something to complain about, but it does make me nervous. I happen to like 4 seasons, but it looks like I'm stuck where I am for a while. Take care

Brilliant photos. There is story and philosophy in a good photo. Opinion
surely derives from each person's reaction. Brrr.
