my son when he was a teenager wanted brand name for his clothes now it doesn't matter to him what brand it says on it.  The ones the only buy brand names are brain washed by adds and their piers

yes I agree, you know the store brands are usually made by a big manufacturing company just for the particular store, say Sears for example

I don't think it really matters....but, I would like quality for the price

I pay....which usually is the brand names....but, if I found something was not a brand name and was for my liking, I would buy it.

my friend buys all brand names as clothes for her kids and herself...I don't understand that because all the clothes I buy for me and the children are always perfect quality as well as a good price.

anyway, here I go again ....going on and on....

take care...sleep well when you get your new bed.

I hope this new matress helps your back!  I'm only a fan of brand names when it comes to such things as home appliances, flooring, beds, and vehicles.  When it comes to food, clothes, and materialistic things I'm just a big bargain shopper!

Lustorlove...
Brand names can be helpful, but they are no garauntee in this dog eat dog marketplace.  If you or those you know have a good experience with a brand name, then it is a help when you have to choose similar products.  For instance, I hae always wanted a Nikon camea, but have had two Canons.  The Canons cost less and for the type of photos I take are completley satisfactory.  Automotive wise, there are brands I rate equal as a good value and some I would avoid like the plague.

I really hope you like your new bed...
I love my Select Comfort bed...I don't think other generic brands are as good.

I am a Payless shoe shopper and I buy from Kmart and most the time I have very good luck, but I guess for a mattress something you are going to spend a lot of your life on, then its a good idea to buy a brand name.

it's not necessary to buy everything brand name, some thing must be brand
name for durability
