Comments on My disease is not a punishment from God...

Go to My God is bigger than your God.....Add a commentGo to My disease is not a punishment from God...

Oh, brother.
Too bad you can't show people a videotape of themselves! Very likely your illness scared the wits out of them (quite literally, the wits) and this was the only way they knew how to react. Those comments must have been very convenient for them.

Wish I could tell you to keep yourself above their idiocy and let it go, but I would have been spitting fiery nails for weeks, too.

Foolish People
God has nothing to do with your disease.  What you need to do is tell these people to worry about themselves.  One day, they will reach psychological and emotional maturity where in the real world they understand we are responsible for our actions, our imaginations, and do not need the comfort of diety.  Science is responsible for any explanation of why biological deformations occur, and for trying to diagnose and possibly cure any illness that we do not have a cure for at this time.  I would say Good Luck and stay strong.

Of course that disease isn't a punishment!
Those people who have said so don't know the Bible and the God Who authored it.  God doesn't have sickness where He is so He can't give it to anyone.  And, He wouldn't even if He could.  The God I know is a loving Heavenly Father and would never want His children to hurt.  If we as human beings hurt when someone we love hurts, imagine how much more it hurts God for us to hurt.

What people don't understand is that there is a very real force called evil that desires nothing but to hurt people.  I will say that I do believe with all my heart that God can and desires to heal you of what you are enduring because just like any normal decent parent, He wants you well.

The best thing to do when foolish people make foolish statements like that is to realize that they are foolish and haven't got a clue about what they are talking about.  Replying to them in anger won't really help anything.  I suggest that the next time someone says that to you that the God you know loves you and wants you well and would never hurt His child with some cruel disease.

Take care of yourself and don't give up hope for miracles but never be ashamed that you are doing the best you can given the situation you face.

Will the REAL crippled ones please stand up!

You are absolutely right and so you should walk (or wheel) with your head held high!  For it is those such as these old ladies who are the truly crippled ones....crippled in mind and soul.
