powerful stuff

newbies need to look no further than your posts for the "substance" that everyone questions the existence of here on BN. Very powerful and highly relevant to today's political climate in which you find yourself  as one who"supports their troops" or doesn't. This country escaped English rule through people like you.

You may have goten from my posts that i am very conservative but I respect anybody with passion and the ability to express it...Mac

Telynor, now that's an example of a religious leader
who really did his job and served the purpose that
good leaders can, help people in need.

Indeed.
I've struggled for years with a particular commandment, that of honoring my parents. After much, much discussion, a very compasionate rabbi helped me work through the problem. His attitude -- "Your parents did not respect you by their behavior towards you, so you are free of any obligation to them." To say that I found his words to be very liberating is an understatement. Excellent points you make and very worthy ones too.

Crabby I can deal with at least two sides to our relationship.
It's mutual support we can give each other on this issue.
