Whinge, whether they are in-body or not, this mantra might be useful
to you. I have found it indispensible:
"Whothehellcareswhatyouthink...?"
It was originally created to reduce the stress caused by tailgating strangers who thought I should risk a speeding ticket so they could go faster. Now, normally, if there is room, I will let them get around me, but if not, then they can eat my exhaust...
Anyway, I've since found it helpful with opinionated relatives, neighbors, etc.

Whacky, to paraphrase ol' Dan'l Boone, you can't get really lost--
just a mite perturbed!

Odysseus, I think "Obstacle Course " is on the curriculum of the school!
Or maybe it is just a favored teaching strategy!

Interesting post, Ceil! Skepticism is always a healthy reaction to
things we do not immediately understand! Blessings in 2007!

Ciel, see I knew that, and they're all way too gobby.
I'd just have to get a pen and paper to take down a list of what I doing wrong now!

Ciel, God no, if I start to get in a conversation with them, we'll be here
a lifetime.

Ah, but there are ways to sort 'em out, and make 'em take numbers!

I'm just thinking from my perspective, that things could get a
little crowded were I the subject, I read about the boy with Tourette's with interest and came to the former conclusion.
With me & mine, living or dead, you can't move for onlookers.

My pleasure, Whinge!
Since he has already said so here on Blogit, I can tell you I did a session with Avant-garde recently. He could tell you more about what it was like from his perspective.
Personally, I recommend curiosity with a good healthy touch of skepticism. Some things are fun to believe in, but really don't carry us nearer to Reality.

Ciel, I've always been curious about this sort of thing.
I wouldn't exactly say receptive, but open minded for a number of reasons, thank you for your answer.

Whinge, when I "look" at someone, I see images & colors,
but I also feel sensations and get impressions, and often feel a "nudge" that comes from outside-- usually someone who wants to add something to the reading. It might be a spirit guide or someone who, as the expression goes, has passed. Then I relay that information, using the particular words that have been given to me.
That kind of mediumship can also be done more directly from a trance-state, which is like me sitting in the back seat while someone else drives the car. I am there, listening in, but letting someone else choose the words to wrap around the answers. My impression is that that may be my own higher consciousness, or that of the person asking for information.

If you 'look' at someone, what do you generally see?
