Well because I have a clever son-in-law the problem may be solved.
He is going to go at the problem two ways,
Do we extend the side board on . .the existing bed frame
OR
Do we use the metal bed frame and add the backboard. We'll decide soon. It is too complicated for me. Thanks for the message.
