miriouma,
Chipmunks, huh? Well, funny you mention them cuz I used to get teased (k, so I still do) about my "chipmunk cheeks. "Hey, Spitfire, you hidin' nuts?" Good times.

Hey There!
My grandfather did the barking spiders and ducks with a cold. I looked for either when he used to say that too lol. Welcome back!

Spitfire,
LOL, great story, what a "hoot", hehe...
I was mostly raised by just my mom, so I have no barking spider stories. I do, however, remember spending long afternoons with a long string tied to a stick, which held up an upside-down box. The idea was to wait until a chipmunk crawled under the box, then to pull the string and drop the box on it.
Hmmm....I never did catch that chipmunk...
Those bastards!

Uh, Dutch Oven Style, Sir Stat?
Umm, yeah. Been 'dar, done 'dat,....unfortunately almost killed Mr. Spitfire at least 10 times for 'dat. (As he made fun of my so-called "Chicago accent") which made his case even more unsupported!!

Yikes! Oh, Young Miss! Then there's the classic,
"Uh, oh...I hope that was a fart..."
I've gone searching for tromped on ducks and frogs, as well as barking spiders.
But have you ever had someone give you a dutch oven? You know, where you blast a good one in bed, then pull the covers over the head of your sleeping mate?

I love saying "Quick, pull my finger".
Usually, it's followed up with, "Oops. Do farts have lumps?"

I don't like pulling fingers - even the sound of it bothers me

My dad had a 'woopie cushion' he would even scare the dog with it!
Then the dog would bark and mom would yell at dad.

Then we'd all laugh.

At least they were creative! My dad just let them rip and laughed about it. And he raised a daughter who blames them on the dog who, incidentally, never farts. (But boy, Montana sure did!)

Shelly,
I suppose it is funny but Mr Spitfire actually
tricks me into pulling his finger! I swear! But I keep telling him those don't count. It's against the rules.
