Thank you all so much for your comments....all have made me think.

I guess I am a little scared, because I am changing...not really sure if I have lost myself, but I just am not the person I use to be....I wonder if that matters...

I guess being happy matters and I am that.

Dear One, I agree with Tanga embrace the new. If a frog had wings he would not bump his butt every time he hopped. You are right where you are sopposed to be. You are blessed with beautiful children and are on the edge of an absolutely wonderful life. God will bless you as you are not who you were. Lots of love and happiness to you and yours in 2007.

In my own case....

The events and circumstances were such that it caused a complete meltdown of my old life. In essence, the old person I used to be...died!

There was no reviving her, though I tried for months. I was left with no choice except rebirth. I thnk starting over fresh with all new idealogies, new goals, new friends, even a new place if possible...is definitley best.

Hi Symph - depends if you still live in the same place.
If so, you can still be the same but with inevitable changes of style as you grow older - and so do your friends. I don't spose you hang out in the park anymore, but you can all grow older together and still have fun. But we should always strive to move forward and do different things, otherwise the things we used to love doing will become boring to us and we'll think life used to be better than it is now, but it doesn't have to be like that.
