Interesting piece Ceil! I taught a student in grade school
who had Tourette's. It was to say the least and interesting year! Blessings for 2007!

Jaz, this soul, remember, was not a boy, but a developing soul with a
karmic debt. He had guidance and help from other sources. I had the ability to interfere, as well as to help, so I was, in essence, warned off.
If the boy had asked for help directly, I would have done what I could. If the soul did not want that help, again, my interference would have been blocked, or perhaps it would have simply been woven into the karmic fabric between us.
In fact, some time later I visited the family and did work with him in person. Things on a more human level were apparent in that session, particularly his need for his mom to give him more room to resolve his own problems. As a mom, her protectiveness had become limiting to his progress and the development as a young man. In other words, normal psychological mother-child stuff. I don't recall that he asked for any other help.
What we are aware of in our consciousness as human beings can be very different from our higher soul-awareness. Many times, what is evident in spiritual terms is not visible to one looking through a psychological or human model. I can offer valid information to someone that is denied because they can't see it from where they sit.
Whenever someone says what I'm telling them is off or wrong, I do take a deeper look, and make some adjustments to be sure that what I am seeing is, in fact, not something stuck in my own perceptual filters. Sometimes, it turns out that it is indeed mine, or from outside. Often enough, though, what I saw simply becomes clearer.
The problem may rest in how I communicate what I see, too.
There is a sense of things clicking when a reading is right on, like the correct placing of a jigsaw puzzle piece. I can feel when it is not quite right, or when my words to describe it are not quite precisely right.

Ciel--- So, if the boy were to ask for your help, could you do more? I'm
curious as to how the soul can improve and develop, if not with help from others.

Jeremy, that's a good question-- i'm going to think about how to answer it
helpfully, and will post something later...

how would someone know if the energy is not their own? if it is attatched then it would seem to be a part of your self. i ask this because i believe i have something similar to bipolar, and often question if it is something invasive. it can work both ways in the spectrum.

That is a fantastic story...amazing that he was able to change...Incredible indeed. I suppose the g/father had not really been insane but at that time in our history little was known of the disease? How horrible that would be...Excellent post!

ciel--
this is a great story that makes it easy for laypersons to understand why humans have Tourettes, Downs and other obstacles which make their life very challenging. I can understand why you weren't permitted to take it further, for to do so would mess with his spiritual evolution.

Ciel -
What a great story to share! While I've been blessed with some abilities, seeing auras (except when doing Reiki) is not one of them. There is so much that we can do to help others (and ourselves), if we would just be open to it. This story is a great example of that!
