Self improvement is always one of those things
that I aim for at the start of a new year.  I must admit that based on some of the thoughts I have sometimes, I wonder if there's someone else living inside my head.

Alf.. Im glad you both play well with each other.

inhabiting the same body .. does one prefer redheads and the other brunettes?

I really did like this post all kidding aside. I analyze myself quite often.. is nice to see someone else doing looking inward and seeing what they see.

Alf...

I have more than two! One way at work, home, karaoke etc. So I hear ya. My other personalities all say hello!

Number 5 just cries a river a minute
7 wants to tie you up and drown you in it
Yeah, 14 just wants to say so long, bygones
32 wants to do things to you that'll make you blush
10 would key the El Camino that you love so much
And there ain't nobody wants to mess with 23
Oh, lucky 4 you tonight I'm just me!

but...are you really sure there are ONLY two of you?? hehe
There is probably a very logical reason for why you prefer (or don't prefer) certain tasks at certain times of the day. It might depend upon your individual internal "clock."

Maybe that's it. Honestly, I'd rather have been doing anything else, but that's true for my daytime job as well.

Another thing I neglected to mention on this subject is the differences between Talion stone sober and Talion after a few drinks. I'm much more talkative with my old buddy Jack Daniels onboard, much more outgoing and dynamic. If you ever see me dancing, make sure I'm not driving. I know about the whole lowered inhibitions thing. I always wondered why I couldn't tap into the festive me without the aid. The fact that I somehow could when I was with Queen V is one of the reasons I fell in love with her.

Au contraire mon friar, this is an extraordinarily riveting post!

I sincerely appreciate a man who can analyze himself, or for that matter anyone. I believe many people spend way too much of their precious time complaining or analyzing what is wrong with everyone else in the world and not enough time in spiritual reflection of themselves. I believe spiritual reflection of oneself determines talents and gifts, gives life direction and purpose and in turn brings each of us onto our own path of least resistance.

I also believe you have touched on something even more significant here. The most perplexing question posed by men; how to understand a woman. Take this analytical thought of yours and multiply it times five. It’s not woman that are difficult to understand, but the woman who doesn’t understand the many facets of herself and what to do with them productively when they change. It isn’t men that are difficult to understand, but the man who doesn’t understand the different facets of himself.

Talion...
I'm a night owl too and also hate graveyard.  Probably because we hate being at work when our minds are at their creative peak?

I sometimes wonder about the differing aspects of my personality, how so much can coexist simultaneously. I'm a night owl. Many times I won't hit my stride until after midnight. Strangely enough, I had a night job once and hated it. I lasted less than a week.
