At least you're trying to help her...that's very sweet of you.
You're using your own experiences and talking to her about what has worked for you. Different things work for different people though. I pray she'll find what works for her and learn how to implement it.
Depression is like that too. I know exactly what to do to dispell the depression but once you're in a cycle you don't have the ability to recall and use those things.
