And a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you, Gome.

Justi - that's one thing I never fully understood - why would someone be

sorry "that I feel this way" . . ?

In any event may you have a Merry Christmas as well.

SoloWriter - Let me take this opportunity to wish you a Merry Christmas

TVBlogger - I've tried to do that in the past but I find that it makes me

giggle to myself.

Giggling in church will get one damned to hell faster than emitting bodily gasses.

Schatz - that is the point of it as I see it - I can make my objections

known on another day.

There are times when other considerations are more important than one's religious viewpoint. Even the fact that I seldom have this consideration returned makes no difference. It is just the right thing to do.

I loved the Christian people ... until they threw me out.

One method I've used
to pass the time while stuck in church is to write in my head.  I work out story lines, character development or whatever needs writing.  I'm sure you could compose some great blogs during your 3 services.

I'm going to have to tell that one to my uncle, who occasionally attends

some Druid functions. LMAO...you guys are too funny.

Gome, I think it's nice that you go along out of respect for the ones you love. This is truly what makes you a good person, the ability to look beyond yourself...and what makes  your final church so abominable. I wish you could skip that one. But get through it and come back to us rarin' to write about the madness you witness. 'Til then, be cool :)

Gome

Have you tried Druid's Fluid? Marvellous stuff! Peels thae label off from the inside.

You old cynic ; I bet you love it! One of these days we're gonna see a headline ...

" Shock Horror Sensation!

Closet Christian Comes Out! Osama Bin Liner prepares death squad!

Mad Inejad writes fatwah! Pope says " Rejoice! " Chief Rabbi shrugs ' Who is this guy Goydome?' "

Well, we can but dream, can't we?
