I have to admit, I probably wouldn't have purchased my child that video game. . , not if it were a reminder (even if dull) of a bad event. However, congrats on looking at the item in a different light--as an object of strength and courage to overcome.

Good for you, Sweet Symphony. I'm happy for you that you're able to put that behind you and are making a life for you and your children. I hope you have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy, Healthy New Year. God bless you.

Good for you Symphony. You were brave then, and you are strong now.
Maybe when you see her play it you will think of how lucky and blessed she is to be so protected and valued, and that she is not in the danger you were. God willing she will never have to face the horrors you did. Merry Christmas, love.

Even in computer games, the bad guys are usually defeated.

Kudos for overcoming your obstacles.

You're doing a wonderful job, love. I have some things to share with you about my own past as a sexual abuse victim, but I'll email you later.
Sorry for never replying to your earlier email. I've just been extremely lazy!!
