I can relate to that
good poem
and as to your recovery for that long time relationship , even scar tissue softens over time :) even though it may seem thats all we are made of from time to time . And who says keeping a tight guard on your hart is a bad thing nobody's punching a clock things will happen and open up when they do and not before.You are just the way you need to be right now healing perfectly just have to wait a bit to take the stitches out.
