I guess I'm lucky, yeah right, I have my two sons living with me and wifey
one is 23 and the other is 25 with a 7 year old daughter he has custody of. They went out, cut me a tree, and this weekend it went up. I put on two decorations and sat back and supervised. I love a real tree it only seems right for me.

For years my daughter would return home AFTER I had battled the tree stand, unraveled the tangles lights and hung them precision like, and placed most of the balls upon the branches. She would come home delighted that it was an evening of friends (our Christmas tree decorating tradition), hang one or two decorations, then stand back and comment on what a lovely tree is was. Yes... it annoyed the heck out of me but to see her face as she looked at the glimmering tree was my reward, I suppose.
