The sun settles down for the night and the

darkness covers all our treasures with a silent blanket of satisfaction.

Yes, I had a wonderful day.  About noon I ventured to a neighbor's house to find her all ready to travel with me to lunch. This petite lady suffered a stroke 3 years ago and is meeting the physical challenges of that stroke.

I expected she would use her walker and guess what?  She only used that 3 prong cane.!!

We selected a restaurant nearby which is famous for lunches.  We had wonderful chicken salad and lots of conversation about our families and the neighborhood.

I didn't know how much energy she needed to expend, so I carefully asked  if she would like to do some shopping.  She responded with a resounding YES.  So, she selected three stores.  By gosh, she did great.

At 4:30 PM (some4 hours later) I drove her home to the arms of her quite capable husband and I took her packages into her house.  What a terrific afternoon.

It was a little challenge for me, feeling responsible for her well being you know,  but I should have remembered it was all in God's hands, he just let me help a little.

Thanks for being there dear bloggers.

Catch you later,

Lou

Tanga

You are so right, for instance when you are sewing, it seems very difficult to allow the right amount of time to finish before it is time to cook or clean. But hey, most of the time it is pleasurable.  Thanks for the comment.
