Nickie, I agree with you completely.
People shoulds have the rights to marry whomever they please, love whomever they please. My point with this post is the hypocrisy praticed by Mary Cheney, our vice presidents daughter, a lesbian who wants all the rights to live openly with her partner and have a baby, but supports the political party who would like to deny her existence. That is hypocrisy.

My country (Belgium) was among the first to approve of gay marriage. Even catholic Spain has admitted it recently! Why shouldn't gay people marry and have children? They have a right to it, just like the others.

Maj, I was married once and that was enough.
I've known 2 men since then that I would have had their child if the timing had been right. Being married was not a factor.

Psssst... an ever-increasing percentage of the reported childbirths are between solvent couples who just don't get married, and are adults.
