AS FOR SORE THROATS, I love ice cream for that....or I squeeze lemon into blackcurrent drink - that is nice as well.

it is a long break though, that is why I am glad that I have finished my christmas shopping and wrapping....usually I am truly stressed because I do it all on xmaz eve....never again.
this way is much better...
although I am still waiting for things to be delivered...they better come in time!
as for the food shopping - my mum will most likely stay with the children whilst I get it all.....easier that way as this time of year is totally busy - I could lose one of the kids in the packed rush.

I am reading and commenting about your kids and ignoring the latest scandal. I think what you said pretty much covers it for me anyway.

Nah, I am well aware that in our school district the kids are spoiled rotten and the parents tend to go way overboard. So I squash any ideas of special treats because I want the kids to do actual schoolwork. Maybe this has something to do with the demise of our educational system...
I cannot believe your kids have such a long break! How cool is that? But it must be hard to get holiday shopping and wrapping done!
