Joe, that's me too.
I wanted a camcorder because I thought I would take movies of my son but I find that I enjoy pictures so much more. Easier to display, email, include in blogs, print out, and all that.

I agree on not getting another camcorder.
My dad gave me one a year ago, and I haven't used it once!! I prefer still shots much more.

I might have to move in a little closer in the future
to get better pictures with the light source I have. Still, it's better than it was and he's well worth taking picture of. =)

I've been dying for a great digital camera. I hoped Santa would bring me one, but it looks like he's doing all his shopping at Home Depot this year. Oh, well.
