Once again...you get it all wrong.....
In the first post on this I said the solution wasn't to remove the trees....but to go ahead and add the Jewish Menorah...And I said the Tree is much more cultural than religious....

The Christmas tree, as you know, predates Jesus by hundreds of years, was part of the Germanic pagan rituals, adopted by the Church to convert the Germanic tribes.
And you and others get your noses out of joint because airport managers might want to accommodate other religions besides Christianity.
I thought this was what the whole kaschmiel of America was about.

Rock Chalk Jayhawk - from a Kansan. (I agree with you that KCM is nicer than KCK unless you want to get robbed or have your car stolen in KCK.) I even follow the news in Seattle from back here in Merry Christmasville. Glad the Rabbi withdrew his litigious threat; being a public school teacher, I am well-acquainted with well connected muscle threats. I got out of it due to health challenges 10 years ago, but the anal parents of today, I think I'd go bloomin' nutso these days! I am a liberal traditionalist -- yeah, living in Kansas, who taught high school military brats, SOCIAL studies, whose daddies were all getting advanced degrees in some field of military history (i.e. SOCIAL studies) one of whom had pictures of Reagan and Ollie North on their dining room wall and I got in trouble for rolling my eyes
(I guess I was less than sincere about Nancy's War on Drugs) -- Thank God I live here! None of the aforementioned terms aren't oxymorons, at least I would argue they're not. They may be MY-morons, however ........

You mentioned that you would protect us???
Two disagreements in your last comment,
1) Canadians think right wing, we and I aren't left. Check out our fiscal record, in 10 years we'll be out of debt-we've doubled out military budget. Just know that in Canada, there is basically no Social Right wing....Religion and Politics are considered separat issues. The liberal party of Canada is a committed right wing free-market party. My point is we aren't left wing.
2) Thank you for offering military protection to Canada. In exchange, I offer to give you permission to wear a Canadian flag if you travel overseas. We usually shun this practice up here in the North but Ill make an exception in your case since you offered to protect Canada
. Good deal I'd say since I expect Canada won't get attacked. Can't say the same for you, best you stay in your little town fella.
George Bush doesnt have my permission to wear the flag.
