strat - the thing of it is that back then; this was our "normal"
This is what we thought the world was like. We thought that all humans spent their time constantly praying and on guard for manifestations of Satan and his henchmen.

Sunnybeach7 - yes this is a repost from the summer
I've stopped adding the words "repost" in the title, as some do, because it serves to stop people from clicking more than it acts as a courtesy. If the truth be known; I have a system for publishing blogs to Blogit and other blogging sites. With a body of work dating back over 3 years now versus the dynamics of most blogging sites; specifically the revolving door of subsctiption, recycling one's posts makes blogging much more efficient. I tend to write 2 or 3 new posts a week for this blog as an example, rework a few older ones for the bulk of the remaining posts and then intersperse a few reposts to take up the slack. The end result is that I can publish prolifically, while constantly polishing my ideas and presenting what is to most people; new material........... and all with the greatest efficiency possible.

These nuns can be great fun nun theless. Very hilariously written ppeice reminding one of the
Spider and the Bee episode. Tne names 'Never had a man' and 'No guy form e' are are approptiately named. Enjoyed!

The only thing I remember a nun saying to me was, "Don't you know any math at all??!!" But she said it in German, and I didn't know my German math.

My uncle wasn't catholic but he took piano lessons from nuns, who he called the black and white women. He claimed they rapped his knuckles with the sharp end of a ruler (for making mistakes).

David1Spirit - can you imagine how many whacks in the head I took over
8 years with these loonies?
Not only in the head but on the knuckles as well, and for every imaginable fabricated transgression a person could think of. It's all funny now, almost surreal in that nothing such as this exists in the civilized world any more, but it sure wasn't funny back then.

Spun just may be the choice word, spun from a web...LOL
The names are great (Neverhadaman...LOL).
Reading this post brings back memories of Sister Roberta. She was a BIG wo-man, and beats the snot out of my in 6th grade because I was guilty of an unspeakable crime: Running through the hall after school.
