Sometimes jokes can turn into reality just like the story of the wolf and the shepherd

That reminds me of a stupid joke, Jack:

Doctor tells his elderly patient that he has some good news and bad news for him. Good news is, the man does not have severe arthritis (as previously thought).

"What's the bad news, then?" the old man wonders.

"It's rigor mortis." says the doctor.

Of course, he actually did die shortly thereafter, Tanga ...

I left that part out, because I felt it would have kinda killed the mood.

Well, I wouldn't necessarily say that, Bel.

How could he be a minor hero, then, MoonSpirit?

Was the enemy ship, like, already starting to sink before he got there, or something?

Mysteria, my father was 36 years older than me (and 20 years older than my mother).

No, Whacky ... actually I believe it was the third.

But then again, I'm not real good with dates.

Yes, in fact, there is a story, Corbin ...

though I best not share it.

Wow! I can't believe I hadn't posted in 5 days!
It only felt like, at the most, four and a half.

what a family you have!
and on a completely different note, and possibly influenced by blanche's playboy post, is it my imagination or does ypunday's graphic look like a bikini wax for the spiritually minded?  and meaning no offense, neil, btw.

Mademoiselle,

I played dead once just to see what would happen.  I ended up pissing everyone off because they had all of my stuff divided up into piles in the living room and were arguing over who got the Panasonic TV when I came walking into the room.

Most of them don't talk to me now, and I had to call the police to keep them from hauling off the piles of stuff that they had divvied up.  I think a couple of them were planning to do something about keeping me from screwing up their plans, but they dropped it when the police came in.

Isn't life interesting?        JJ Flash--

My grandfather's father was in the Civil War. By all accounts it was not very civil. He was a (minor) Civil War hero leading his troops to victory in a battle where an enemy ship was sunk and two ships were captured along with provisions, etc. Nobody had a heart attack that I am aware of, however, my doctor advised me about two months ago that I should see a cardiologist immediately. I'm still waiting for an appointment. How am I doing with this thread?

Sadly, Troosha, my father never had time for "joking around".
He was always too busy (teaching at the clown college).

Mademoiselle
I love a practical joke when the recipient actually "gets you back" with your own joke.  My father was notorious for that....
