The AIDS quilt idea was genius.
I can't look at one without tears streaming down my face. My youngest son worked an AIDS info hotline in the early 1990s, and did a stint as a grief counselor. I am very proud of him, and was amazed how long it took the deaths and ignorance about the issue to wear him down, burn him out. The good news: at Pride parades these days, the numbers carrying "in memory of" signs has gone way way down. I hope you feel much better right away. You're one of those crusaders we need to keep the world in balance. :)pat
