Creative take on this Corbin. Wonder what made him think that was a good
idea?

Corbin_Dallas, I'm throwing my hat in to see if it stays, and in what condition, before I enter. I got a little carried away poking fun at Blogit Family members last night and this morning I'm a bit ashamed of myself.

Cute post, Corbin
I heard about the runaway parade float today at work. I was wondering what made him do it. Now I know the rest of the story!

As always, hilarious stuff! Are you sure you wouldn't rather be a broadcaster than a blogger?

fictional comments of yers so you better watch out!

(But I secretly admit that I thoroughly enjoyed reading this!)

We southerners are accustomed to people making fun of us.
And we don't mind...oh no...not at all...
{This was funny though}

Only because you are a southerner do you get away with this.
I personally adore the south and the people and I can tell you from experience, it's not just in the south that there are idiots driving drunk in a parade. We had to remove a driver from my hometown parade last year because he thought it would be OK to sit his kid on his lap and drive a huge farmall tractor (you know the ones with wheels that have to be at least 8'-10' high) while drinking Jack straight from the bottle.

I enjoyed your humorous twist on the event - the commentators on the ladders, in particular. Small town parades can be pretty hokey (I live in a small town so I can say this) - at least this one had a bit of excitment.

Now do a version if the whole thing happened up north in my neck of the woods!
