Enjoyed it! Almost a poetic primal scream.

Superb use of rain as a catalyst for cleansing and finding strength.

Nightmajik - your description of your walk reminds me of Jim Valvano's
ESPY speech in 1993.  Sounds like you were alive.

NightMajik, living in the Pacific Northwest, I've become a connossieur of

rain, the way Eskimos are said to have 15 words for snow. There is the soft, misty drizzle that feels so good on my skin, the soft light on my sensitive eyes.

The freezing downpours, though I only wish to avoid. It's the in-between times, the breaks in the clouds, when everything smells so good and fresh and pure as though washed by God himself in a sort of rebirth, that I love. No, I love it all.

Nightmajik, Nothing is more honest, rhythmic or colorful as the rain. And
keeps us on the straight and narrow.  Nice work.
