Dear Waterkat

I don't know your age, but I venture to say I am quite your senior.

I learned to type on a manual typewriter which was all my Dad could afford, it was a relic from the Army used during World War II.  The keys were rimed with metal, and if you didn't hit the center of the key, well it hurt like the devil.

Later I remember the Engineers in my office all hand writing, lettering if you will, their reports which were turned over to me for typing.  Finally I had a good typewriter, manual, then electric and now we have a computer in my home.

All this to say, keep on writing, pen and pencil if necessary, the machine age is an advantage, but it does not make the talent, make the opportunity  just makes it easier.

God Bless You,

Lou
