MInimum wage...
A double edge sword. The reality, places that rely on minimum wage employees, McD's and the like all raise their prices proportionately, many well before the wage hike comes into effect. That way the people that make these wages who are mostly the people who pay those prices see little net gain. Minimum wage is good, but certainly not a cure-all. This information is from my wife, an accountant. Facts ruin most of our attempts to cure societies ill via legislation.
