Thanks Kevin for your very kind words.
It helps that Blogit makes up such a miniscule percentage of my time/life/days, etc.

Closure...
Well, hopefully the blocker will wander back to your blog and see your post. I find it sad when lines of communication are permanently closed, but don't let it get you down. Just do your part to resolve the issue (which it looks like you've done), then move on. The Bible tells us that we are to apologize when we offend somebody... it doesn't say that we're responsible for their failure to hear the sincere apology. Keep your chin up and keep posting.

Justi, my friend, I see your point and would consider blocking,

perhaps, were I in your shoes.  If we could just all be civil around here . . . (sigh).

Jane's
Good post. I am a guilty party. I have four people blocked right now. When someone reads my posts and disagree with me and leaves a comment that does not state that or why but calls me names including stupid and a myriad of others. I don't feel there is anywhere to go with that person. I did try that early on Blogit; I got nowhere. I block them. I shall not have myself repeatedly disrespected when I am not even talking particularly to them and certainly not about them. Some people love to hate me.... do that on their blogs. I do understand your point too and I appreciate it. I am not that generous of spirit. Be blessed friend.

TAPS, once again I find myself agreeing with you on the one but not

the other.  Closure is likely a human term, I would concur.  For sure the people mentioned in Hebrews 11 did not receive closure.  So yes, once again I believe you are right, oh wise One.

Regarding the other -- you're not preaching.  Or if you are, it is very appropriate and well received.

JanesOpinion, forgive me.  I think I caught myself preaching.  Maybe all this stuff has gotten to me more than I thought it had.

JanesOpinion, Closure is a human word originating from human ego.  I don't think that God has promised closure on this earth.

Huh. TAPS, good point.

I guess what bothers me, in this whole blocking business, is that I like closure. If I have done wrong (in particular) or been wronged, I like to make amends and move on (which is likely why I am still perseverating over this whole business).  But with that au contraire business of yours -- you've made a good point.

Yeah, I know.  Must drop this.

Au contraire, JanesOpinion.  If I have said what I believe, and in doing so have not been unkind or odious or small of spirit, I count it all joy to be blocked by one who is of opposite sentiment.
