I was surprised by a warning of elevated blood work six months ago. I had time to follow the rules of and dump the carbs other than sugar. I stopped sugar two years ago and lost thirty pounds in a few months. A O/K at present! Good luck to you! Blessings! faholo

My Dad has Diabetes, and hates the restrictiveness of it - until he learned what I can't have as a result of contracting Celiac disease.

My mother had diabetes but never told anyone until close to her own
passing...she had four sons and we are all wondering about the possibility now...I agree, talking to a physician is paramount ...come to think of it I did eat a few brownies and wondered why she declined where once she would wrestle with the rest of us for the last piece...
