FreeManWalking I find it interesting that Morello uses the assertion
of freedom in terms of rank ..."the number one freedom"... vvery cool way to think...

Joe_Love ...No_Love, not mine, he is a guitar player named Tom Morello
He and his Bandmates made 'Rage Against the Machine'.  Very cool grouping of artists.

hahaha mysteria
You're definitely right on that one.  You are free in America to starve if you choose to.  Funny, I've never heard it put that way before.  LOL  Is that an original??

You are observant and absolutely one hundred percent correct.  Thoreau makes a lot of good points in this regard... Smart person you are...

hobos have a lot more freedom than we think, especially those
who choose to be hobos (i.e. My friend's friend's sister. Seriously.)

mysteria, Choices, choices.  LOL.  Everyone has to be subserviant to someone it seems.  Even people who have their own business are, in effect, subserviant to their patrons/clients.

This is one very valid facet of our country. But it is only one.
There are lots of working musicians who are happy with their art, who don't cut records or deal with corporate. There is joy in making art, and no high-paid suit at the company experiences that. There's more than one kind of starvation.
