I hope it went well. I vascillate between thinking hypnosis would be good,
to thinking I just don't want to know it consciously, because then you can't un-know it. I hope you are well and I love your picture. Very snappy, and Mysteria-ous. LOL

There's a technique - not regression or hypnosis or psychology -

that can help a person put old damage into perspective.  It's using your imagination to distance yourself.

Imagine a photograph of the thing or person you fear. It is in a frame. Imagine you're picking up the frame, even though you don't want to look at the face. Visualize it at arm's length. Then imagine your arms stretch out further, across the yard, across the street, across the field or lake all the way to the horizon. The picture grows smaller and smaller as it moves away, until at last it's only a dot. It is still there, but too small to be a threat. You can choose to look at it now, it has no power over you. Or you can choose to ignore it. 

I learned this technique from a communications prof. once -- and it's amazing how effective it is.
