You might want to ask them if they will correct the typo in the title of the poem before they publish it. *grin* I say "pass" on poetry.com.

Do not under penalty of death get involved with these people.
I'm dirt sick, or I'd go into more. They are basically a vanity press. You and ANYONE who gets on their list WINS. You get a letter and you're allowed to get the reservation for your specially bound copy. Long and short, you and the thousands of others paid for vanity press. Poetry.com publishes a book, probably never reading your poems. They make money by marking up the cost. Think of it like your yearbook publishers, only with a huge mark up.
There's more, but that's the short version. I just don't want you to send these people money unless your goal is just to see your stuff in print, which is legitimate.

I like your poem, but I think they make the offer to everyone who
submits a poem to them...a couple girls from work did it and they made the same offer to both of them too.

I submitted two poems to that site. I don't know why but I
didn't like them. I don't think you get any money for your poem but they do ask you to buy the book of poems for you and your friends.
