My biggest disappointment...
My biggest disappointment after the 9/11 attack was that President Bush didn't interrupt ALL programming to announce an energy "Manhattan Project". Similar to President Kennedy's "We will put a man on the moon and bring him back by the end of this decade". With all our resources, engineers, universities, and resources, there's no excuse for us to rely on unstable, undemocratic or flat out undesirable sources of our energy.

It would work...
Check out thermaldepolymerization (google it) a way to make oil from garbage, the technology ir here, it is real, now if only the govt. and oil companies could kick the imported oil habit.
