- Go to Giants Fall Apart In Fourth Quarter; Steelers Have Already Fallen
Right you are, OFFBEATS. That ugly L to Washington is still an L. But I'd
rather finish ugly at the top of the division than beautiful on the bottom.

How about those Cowboys? They looked good, but could have done better. A W is a W whether it's ugly or pretty...

Not necessarily, ladychardonnay. If the Steelers win the rest of their
games, they'll finish 9-7 and could pull down a playoff bid, wildcard probably. Of course, the way the league stands right now, with tons of teams hovering around the .500 mark, they could win all their games and be left out because of the points system. But don't give up, not just yet...

The Raiders will probably always be considered and remembered as a "dirty"
team, Blanche. Stigma attaches, prevails. I, too, detest the raiders, but I detest a few others a little more. They're barely in my Top Ten Loathed Teams list.

He says, fortunately the Raiders don't win often. The Chiefs beat them 8
times in a row. Good triumphs over evil at last. So satisfying.

I feel for him, Blanche. The Chiefs have a good team, but given the way
Chargers are playing, I'd put them up against Indy and New England without a qualm. They look strong...

Professor Peabody is grousing that the Raiders, whom he thinks are the
most disloyal and dirtiest and most penalized team in the league, and they occasioanlly beat his beloved Kansas city Chiefs. So, for him to root for them to beat the San Diego Chargers so the Chiefs can move up in their division causes him some conflict.

This waxing and waning of good and bad years is a testament to parity, SW.
