My brother has never asked for anything from me, so I guess in that regard I am lucky.

Bel -
I have a brother who comes and goes in my life. When he comes, it usually for money, and something unpleasant usually happens. Whenever I hear or see him, I prepare by telling myself that no matter what happens, the path that he has chosen was done so to help him learn - regardless of how it affects me. I then approach him with love and humility and hope for the best.

I hope it works out for you.  I am the oldest of 4, I never got to be a little sister.  But of course being the big sister, I still get to be the boss LOL!

bel, recently, my oldest brother and I have been reconntected via

email.  Before our recent contact I usually only saw him or spoken to him once a year.  For five years, I never saw him.  I am really looking forward to being his "little sister" again.  I just hope he wants to be the "big brother" he use to be.

I hope things work out with you and your brothers!

Even if it doesn't turn out to be a happy thing you won't live with 'what if's".  The worst that can happen is you both go back to living your lives as they were before.

Wiley

Myspace.com is kind of a social network.  It has it's upside and down side to it.

It offers a place to read blogs from your friends, meet people with similar interests, etc...  It's not a dating site but I do expect some use it for such.  I had so many friends using it, I signed up and discover both of my little brothers there.

For me I don't allow anyone under the age of 18 to add me as a friend because there has been an issue with minors and bad adults.

Bel, when old family memories come up, I try to focus on my life now.

Bel, I think that most of us just might have a relative or two like that or that effects us in that way.  Just do the best you can and when you've done that, feel good about yourself.

I have started tracking down my half-sister, Bel, not sure if it's a good
idea or not, but she is my sister, sort of.
