Just remember, SW, people are animals, too. Those morons at PETA are
worried about fish getting hooks in their mouths. So what's a fisherman to do, dynamite them? Doesn't seem fair to the rest of the animals in the water, does it? Morons, plain and simple-minded.

faholo, they didn't seem concerned with the cold
Some animals are beaten, some are raped, and some escape and get hit by cars.

Now that's an interesting post, Success!
Does PETA not know that God created animals with thick fur so they could withstand the cold. I know some people seem to have thick skin but animals really do! Blessings!

I don't even know if it's necessary
to check your sources. It sounds like something those rather bizzarre people would do. Thanks for the interesting story.

We have a live nativity scene here in Chicagoland, Success
Christ Church of Oak Brook does one every year - as far as I know, PETA has never protested it as being cruel to animals. You're right about one thing, though. PETA always comes off in press coverage looking like a group of nut cases, and the media make PETA targets look like the good guys.

It sounded like they just stand out there freezing their asses off
Religious beliefs aside, you wouldn't find me out in the Alaska weather in December dressed like a cow.
